Established in 1959 in Market OvertonMARKON:
Established in 1959 in Market Overton, UK. Markon moved into Oakham in 1960 and expanded production.

Purchased by Newage Ltd (now Cummins Generator Technologies) in 1987 and became “Markon division of Newage”

MARKON SAWAFUJI LIMITED:
September 2001 saw the establishment of a joint venture between:

 Sawafuji Electric Co. Ltd.  (Japan)
Cummins Generator Technologies Ltd.  (UK)

In May 2002 MARKON SAWAFUJI LIMITED completed installation of a new production line. Manufacturing, Sawafuji designed, 2 pole alternators from 2 to 6 KVA  (NAC range).
This complimented the existing MARKON 2 pole product and increased capacity from 20k units per year to, in excess of, 250k units per year.

Located in Rutland, England. The MSL factory has 864 sq. mtrs. of production.
